KRISTINA CRAIG "Come Home" Single Self-Released

Television competitions can help move your career along very rapidly with the exposure you gain from being on them. We have all seen it happen with American Idol and even to some degree Nashville Star . Back in 2007, ABC did a primetime special that showcased some country music as well when they aired Six Degrees of Martina McBride . While no one has really shot to stardom from the show just yet, Kristina Craig, one of the shows six-finalists has begun to make her way down the path to it. The Nebraska native made the move to Nashville after her appearance on the show and has been hard at work on new songs for her forthcoming album. With "Come Home" we see Craig touching on a deep subject as the song was written for her sister who suffers from addiction. As Craig sings the driving mid-tempo song, you can hear the conviction in her voice as she lays out the lyrics that see a 19-year old girl leaving home for a better life and instead only finding her way to addictions, bad choices, losing faith, etc… She then asks the question in the chorus of how far one can go with that sort of path before their conscious takes over and they listen to the voice telling them to come home. Her lyrics are incredibly well written and her voice captures them perfectly as it combines elements of country with Christian and a whole lot of soul. This is a song that comes from somewhere the singer knows very well and is sung with a lot of heart and love which makes this really stand out upon hearing it for the first time. This is definitely a new artist worth keeping an eye on if this song is any indication.

A note from Kristina

June 2010

Hey everybody!

I have recently had quite a few exciting things happening with my music career that I would love to share with all of you. I have been a part of my Church praise band for almost two years now at The Well Church; playing with some of the most talented musicians around.

I have been blessed enough to have the opportunity to go into the Murfreesboro Women's Prison with a dear friend of mine and provide them with worship music. They are so hungry for the Word and Love of God, it's absolutely amazing. I have also been playing at halfway houses around Nebraska, for women recovering from addictions, such as drug and alcohol abuse; and plan to perform at different women's and children shelters in Tennessee as well.

God has been opening so many doors to do His work. I am so thankful for that. I am continuing to write with many talented writers such as Wynne Adams, Jane Carr, and Greg Giovannetti for the completion of my album. Hey everybody,
I wanted to give you an update of what's been going on here in Tennessee.

Besides all the crazy weather we're having, things are going great.
  I'm still a part of our 13 piece praise band at my church "The Well".  They are amazing!!!
I am currently working with different people to do more a street ministry right now as well as everything else. We are going to parks and things to perform for the homeless; and anything else the Lord lays down for us.  

I've been writing a ton, and have a few exciting things coming up that I'll share with you as they happen. We have been doing some demo recording to get the new songs layed down.  Please continue to keep calling the radio stations for my songs.  You all are doing great.

Besides all the crazy weather we're having, things are going great.
  I'm in a six peice band affectionately called " The Cradlerobbers".  Ironically, the musicians in this band are the same musicians that make up our 13 peice praise band at my church "The Well".  They are amazing!!!
  We are getting ready for our next show coming up friday at Bumpus Harley Davidson in Murfreesboro, Tn. 

I've been playing and writing a ton, and have a few exciting things coming up that I'll share with you as they happen.  Please continue to keep calling the radio stations for my songs.  You all are doing great.

Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for dropping by my website and following my career.

The latest news here in Tennessee is that Frank Green my producer with DigitalMaster and Wynne Adams, President of Vision Productions, have decided to publish "Come Home" written by Myself, Wynne, and Frank. I am so excited about this. We have already pitched this to two female singers and their record labels. We are in the process of pitching it to: 2008 winner of Nashville Star, Mellissa Lawson, Kellie Pickler, and Miranda Lambert!!! Please continue to pray for the Lord to do His Will with this blessing.
I have also been accepted to play with Jack and Diane for "Music in the Boro" in Murfreesboro, Tn. Im so excited to play with some of the best writers around!!!
I am getting ready to shoot for the November taping of "Wynne's World" with Wynne Adams, airing on NTV. So stay tuned=)
My team and I doing a lot of amazing things, so please keep us in your prayers.. You are all definetly in mine. I LOVE YOU...
I would like to give a shout out and tremendous thanks to a few people who continue to bless me with their talents. First, my mom, she is so great, always keeping me on my A game... She handles my website, my promo information, Radio Stations and so much more than I could even describe. Angie McCullie for years of dedication to my website, Wynne Adams for promoting and taking me step by step, creative writing and for so much more.. Janie Carr for letting me in your home.. We're writin' a ton of hits=) There is too many ppl to thank to list them all but you know who you are... You are loved.. Thanks all of you.. I love you so much...

Hey everyone, I just wanted to write a little something about what I have been doing here in Nashville, TN. I have been performing at local venues in downtown Nashville, places like The Commadore, ect...  I am keeping very busy doing acoustic shows…As you know I just got out of the studio from recording three songs, a mixture of my writing and other amazing writers from Nashville and Omaha... My CD is scheduled to be out by the end of July, 2008.  You can hear it on Myspace and my website and it is going to be available on iTunes shortly=)
I will be performing in Nebraska a few times during the summer.

Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to take the time to tell you a little bit about what I've been doing.
I am now living in Nashville , TN and I love it! I miss home like crazy, but I know this is where I need to be.

On a more personal level, I joined an incredible church where I have met a lot of phenomenal contacts that are in the music business. One of those contacts was able to get my cd and bio to a few of the judges from Nashville Star, now I'm skipping a few of the audition steps and going straight to the final round in Nashville March 22nd !

On the business side to things, I've been keeping busy writing and working with Wynne Adams of Galaxy of Stars who works for the Producer Frank Green of Digital Masters who will be producing my demo.
I'm also working with an amazing Vocal Coach to get me ready to record.

Frank Green has put together some of the finest musicians in Nashville to work with me on this project.
I am so excited to finally have my music be heard.
Production begins March 27th , stay tuned!
